Here's the scoop. I'm new to California and am satisfied with my life here so far. I live in the Bay, so obviously a very beautiful, diverse, dynamic area (like S.D. in those senses, except we have a lot more green). Anyway, I was recently let go from my job. It's not so much that I'm looking to leave the Bay as I am willing to relocate within the state for employment. Have to work, right? So...there's this place called San Diego some eight hours south. I define Greater S.D. as just San Diego County. I define the Bay as being from Petaluma to Santa Cruz to Antioch. Still, big areas they both are. The only downside I've found so far about the Bay is some of the arrogant, snooty attitudes of the people, particularly among 20-something females regardless of race. Now, this maybe shouldn't be such a big deal except that I'm a straight 20-something male. I come from a place where friendliness is next to Godliness, so if one can't even make an effort to say "Thank you" at Mc-freakin'-Donald's, then I don't even want to date them.
