Voting Question: i need an apartment can anyone help with info?

My fiancee lost his job and we are currently looking for work but we need a place to live. we are temporarily on welfare receiving about 450 a month. I need to find those apartments that charge your rent according to your income. theyll like charge 20% of what you make. but i dont want to live in an dangerous area. we have a child so location is important. can anyone help me find some of these places.
